Graphic Tools

• provide a homogeneous graphical environment endowed with most common free and low-cost graphical tools
  We are using here scripting languages (Tcl or Python with Tk), as well as Java with its GUI class libraries, in order to provide a single Graphical User Interface where differences between graphical applications are hidden behind.
  
  
• further develop and standardize graphical packages currently available at the center
  This action concerns the XCRSYDEN XCRSYDEN graphical package developed by Tone Kokaly. This package, devoted to crystal visualization is now interfaced to the PWSCF code for electronic structure calculations: this is therefore a first step toward a full inter-operability among graphical tools and scientific simulation packages.
