reducing the number of k-points will not help. Reducing
ecutwfc and/or ecutrho will. Also using the strict minimum
of states (nbnd) will help.

There are a few more options affecting memory usage: 
"diagonalization" ('cg' uses less memory), "startingwfc"
('atomic' may use a lot of memory),  "mixing_ndim" (the
largest, the more memory is used)
