Dear Tone,

I also added the lib folder from your source.all version in the top_dir of 
semishared_bin, and added that folder to LD_LIBRARY_PATH, then the command:
"$XCRYSDEN_TOPDIR/bin/xcrys"
worked without error and the small box appeared AFTER_THE_SAME_DELAY as 
before.
