[xcrysden] Missing /.xcrysden folder and mpeg_encode failure

Hello,

I installed xcrysden 1.6.2 and tried to create an mpeg movie from pw.x output. However, during installation I recognized that the hided /.xcrysden folder is not existent. As a consequence, I am not able to perform the encoder definition via:

set xcMisc(mpeg_encode) /usr/bin/mpeg_encode

Is this an actual bug?

I would be pleased by every advise.
