<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>I would like to follow up on this report and give some good news. I found there is a very simple solution to get tcl/tk 8.5.13 and 8.6.1 to work from MacPorts in XCrySDen: just make sure tk installed with variant +x11 rather than the default +quartz, since XCrySDen is using X11. The only problem with the newer tk versions in MacPorts was that +quartz became the default. All variants for tcl were fine for compilation and runnning, using "<span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">-DUSE_INTERP_RESULT" in CFLAGS as Tone recommended.</span></div>

</div>More or less. This indicates that other fixes besides<br>
-DUSE_INTERP_RESULT are needed. I guess that due to backward<br>
incompatibility of Tcl/Tk8.6 with the 8.5 and older versions some code<br>
adjustment will probably be necessary.<br>
