[xcrysden] unable to exploit advanced geometric features

Dear Xcrysden users,
                                   I am unable to exploit the advanced
geometric options which I need to delete some atoms or to visualize some
Miller planes. In adv. geo. option nothing comes after clicking. Can anybody
please tell me where the problem might be or help me out.
